Though this may be Daniel Clark's first year at Lehman, he is a junior with past experience serving for the student body. His interest in Lehman's Faculty Student Senate follows past years serving for the student council at his college in Utah.

As a student going into nursing, one of Clark's issues that he hopes to work on deals with that department. He hopes to make the process less burdensome.

"When I was applying there were quite a few hurdles. I think it can be simpler," he said

Clark's interest in running for the Senate also circles around some of the political science classes he has taken. After attending and seeing some of the guests who were invited into Lehman, he hopes to help with the process of picking the speakers. He finds the speakers chosen by the school and its student body to be interesting, and he wishes to be a part of that.

When asked why he believes he will make a good candidate, he said, "I work hard." And as can be seen, he also gets involved.
