Cambridge, Mass - Lehman College's Amy Ruston continued her fine indoor season competing at the GBTC Invitational held at the Gordon Track on the campus of Harvard University. Taking command from the gun Amy lead the first two laps before being passed by Emer O'Shea, the former Providence College standout now competing for the Boston Athletic Association, the two battled through the gun lap setting up a thrilling stretch run and a photo finish. After the dust settled Amy was declared the winner with a time of 2:11.41. Amy's time qualifies automatically for the NCAA DIII Nationals and is the fastest time in the country so far.
Up next for the Lady Lightning will be the Colgate Women's Games Semi-Finals at Pratt Institute and the Colligate Invitational Track & Field Meet at the Armory Track and Field Center.
