Student Senate
Chairperson Muller announced that she will be resigning next semester. Senators can submit intention/position forms via email if they would like to run for Chair. Elections will be held at the first Spring meeting.
Senators proposed many issues to be voted on and approved for next semester, including changes to the Student Activity Fee, revision of the Bell Schedule, extending library hours, demanding a more rigorous Philosophy major, improving the dissemination of information to students, expanding the intramural sports program and improving the shuttle bus service.

Scholarship Opportunity
Talbots Charitable Foundation Opens 2006 Women's Scholarship Fund Program. National apparel retailer Talbots, Inc. has launched its 2006 Women's Scholarship Program, a fund that annually awards $100,000 in college scholarships to outstanding women seeking a bachelor's or associate's degree later in life.
Eligible applicants must be women currently residing in the U.S. who earned a high school diploma or GED at least ten years ago; are currently seeking a degree from an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school; and have at least two full-time semesters or twenty-four credits remaining to complete their undergraduate degree.
The postmark deadline for entries is January 3, 2006, or until one thousand eligible applications have been received. Applications for the scholarship are available at all Talbots U.S. stores and can also be downloaded online at the Talbots Web site.

Re: Holiday Giving will cheer special kids
Please help the Lehman College Softball Team and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee in their efforts to bring smiles to the faces of the children of Lincoln Hospital this holiday season.
Please bring a wrapped or un-wrapped toy or small gift for kids ages 1 to 18, to the Lehman College Athletic Department (APEX 251) or to Coach Kim Santoiemma (APEX 215) by Thursday, December 8, 2005.
